Designer Diamond Club

The Husqvarna Designer Diamond is unarguably a feature-packed machine. To help you get to know everything about your Designer Diamond join us for Diamond Club every month. This club is exclusively for

Designer Diamond & Deluxe owners. Carol will help you create a small project that incorporates a feature of the machine. Such as Design Positioning, Design Shaping and much more. Different techniques will be highlighted each month and will be used to create a selected project.

Foot Of The Month

In this class you will create a block each month using different feet and different techniques. You will create 12 blocks in total that will be sewn together to make a quilt about 49" x 40". If you are a person with lots of feet, but never used them this is the class for you. You can jump into this club at any time. Join us once a month to create this exciting new quilt project that makes use of many of those feet in your collection, and more. Each month we will introduce a specialty pressure foot and how to use it. No more samples to add your stash, but a beautiful finished quilt to showcase a variety of the Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff machine feet. If you are newly registering, please inquire about which feet will be showcased for the day you will be joining us. If you don't already have it, we will pre-order the foot for you.

Helping Hands

We need left over fabric of all types and volunteers to help us sew articles for women and children in need. We will meet every 2 weeks and everyone is welcome. Space is limited, so if you're interested please sign up ASAP. Basic sewing skills are required.

Hot Ribbon Class

This class is different. No sewing machine necessary for the main part of this class. We will create the applique using hot ribbon. The applique will be drawn out and cut to create this beautiful flower. Then use hot ribbon to enhance the details and place it onto the back ground fabric. If you are looking for something different this is the class for you. Use it for a table topper or in a quilt.

MACHINE 101 (All Machine Owners Welcome)

This class is your opportunity to take advantage of the free lessons offered to you when you purchased your machine and for those who have a machine and are not sure what all the feet, gadgets and stitches are for. You will learn about all the parts of your machine, what they are used for, care and maintenance of your machine, tension, threads, needles and sewing gadgets that will make your sewing more fun, fast and easy. You will end up technically understanding and bonding with your machine and you will be better at troubleshooting. Your samples of all the basic garment construction stitches will be a great reference for future sewing projects. This class is a must for every sewer.

MACHINE 201 (All Machine Owners Welcome)

This is the second level of our sewing machine workshops. You will follow your manual as you learn about the computer aspects of your machine through the use of the decorative stitches and letters. Also NEW this fall we have added basics of twin needle work, easy applique, easy zipper and darning. If you want to fully benefit from all the wonderful features of your machine, DON'T MISS THIS CLASS!

Sewing Club

Our sewing club is back with a new "face". Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for an enjoyable afternoon of sewing demos & projects, videos, new product information, show and tell, door/prizes and in store specials. Keep up to date on what's new in the sewing world.

Sewing With Clara (For Teens & Adults)

This class is for the beginner sewer and for those who would like to brush up or learn new sewing skills. Beginners will make elastic waist pajama bottoms, capris or shorts and the more experienced sewer will make a project of their own choice. The beginner students will learn how to read a commercial pattern, lay out the pattern on fabric, general fitting information, simple seam finishes, construction and more.
