Beach House
Beach House is a fun quilt pieced together in sections using a large number of fabrics. This class teaches piecing and appliqué techniques. The colours in this quilt remind you of a warm lazy summer day at the beach.

French Braid
This striking quilt is made with an easy piecing method and is done in a wide variety of colours. From dramatic to subtle colour changes, the result is a quilt that will have your friends complimenting you on your amazing talents.

Granny Squares
Use up those fabric scraps and quilt batting remnants with this unique perpetual quilt project. Each block is complete with finished edges ready to be stitched together in any number of combinations that can grow from a potholder-into a table runner-into a lap quilt-into a full sized bed quilt.

Hand Quilting
Learn how to hand quilt without the pain! This class focuses on teaching hand quilting techniques that will help to increase the quilters level of comfort as well as regulate stitch length and consistency. Find out how to prepare a quilt for hand quilting including basting and marking. Try some of the new tools that are available on the market today. Learn techniques that will help you master the art of Hand Quilting.

Quilt Finishing
Do you have lots of unfinished quilting projects that you once started at Lyn Bell Designs? This class is for you. Come and join in and finish the projects you once started. Use our classroom (and one our machines if you need one) and enjoy the company, secure in the knowledge that if the phone rings, it won't be for you. Just think of it as a mini retreat. We have a teacher on hand to assist you. It's great fun and motivating as well.

Quilting 101
Discover a new talent. In this class you will learn quilting basics from how to choose your fabrics, cutting and reading patterns to making a complete quilt top using a strip piecing method. We will be making a lap size log cabin quilt from the Eleanor Burns “Quilt in a Day” book. Once you make this quilt, you will be hooked!!!

Quilting 201
Can’t seem to get your quilts finished? Susan will show you how to get those quilt tops put together so you can actually use your quilts instead of having them sit in a drawer. Bring your completed quilt top to class and learn to layer, baste, machine quilt, and put on a binding finish.

Summer Sampler
Join us in making this fresh looking summer sampler. This quilt combines several different blocks joined with pieced sashings to create a unique design. From beginner to advanced skill level, anyone can make this quilt their own. You pick your colours or have us make up a kit for you.

Using fabrics donated by our customers and Lyn Bell Creative Sewing Studio, our volunteers are turning these fabrics into quilts which are donated to local worthwhile causes. X-Blocks
Discover the exciting quilting adventure of X-Blocks! In this class we will make a basic quilt top using the X-Block rotary cutting tool, you can create dozens of spectacular designs that looks complex, but are incredibly quick and easy! They can be created from strips or easy-to-piece blocks. The fabulous borders are created as you make your X-Blocks so there is virtually no waste!
